Photography Pointers

When H bought her camera at the weekend part of the package was an introductory session in camera/photography basics. She was allowed to bring a friend and she picked me!!! I was keen to attend as I've pretty much learned as I've gone along with taking the photos but had no idea about some of the little things you can do to avoid (minimise) disasters such as corrupt cards, lens protection etc. Picked up a few tips and also have a few items on my wish list.
