Feeding the cows

It was a beautiful warm start (for this time of the year!), this morning, with a blueish sky. We went feeding out this morning, and although it was muddy under foot, we were greeted by our cows, very happy to see that their breakfast had arrived.

After feeding the main mob, we grabbed a few little bales of hay.  In this photo you can see T throwing slabs of hay over the fence to some waiting cows. 

I think the best of the day has been.  The sky (this afternoon) is now totally overcast.  I was a bit optimistic putting the washing out this morning.  It's time to bring it in, and put it by the fire to dry. 

Book work is on the agenda this afternoon - how exciting. :-(
