Today was the first day of my summer class, Psychology of the Gifted. The professor who teaches it co-opted his wife to help him; they both have extensive experience teaching and supporting gifted youth. While the material is very interesting, a four hour class format is a killer. It is a long time to focus on learning any one thing.

Unless, of course, it is hands-on photo processing... ;-)

The class is taught in Dorman Hall, the building that houses Marilyn and all other USDA plant geneticists. Perhaps we will have a chance to gran tea more often. She recently moved to a different neighborhood, and we don't see each other as often. These guys are growing on the side of Dorman.
