Kiltwalk 2015

Today my cousin walked 26 miles from the Duthie Park in Aberdeen to Potarch in Deeside as part of Team Alfie in the Kiltwalk. Alfie Milne is a local 7 year old wee boy who suffers from lymphangiomatosis, Team Alfie consisted of 31 people walking to raise funds for the Alfie Trust, a charity set up by his parents which aims to raise awareness and contribute to research of this very rare disease. So far Team Alfie have raised over £8000.
We went down to support her, the girls had made a super banner that Alfie's Mum also thought was great. All the Kiltwalkers were in great spirits and still had between 18-19 miles to walk at the point we saw them.
Betty was due to go to the finish line with H to see them but she's full of the cold and has felt progressively worse as the day has worn on.
Very proud of my cousin, and I'm sure my Auntie Meg would have been bursting with pride.
