Maldon's boating lake is .... "One of the biggest tourist attractions in the area". In fact, Maldon Prom comes in at #2 in TripAdvisor things to do around the area. Opened in 1895, visitors of the time could walk, fish, swim and go boating. Today you can take a ride on swings, roundabouts, a zip wire, galleon play park, splash water park, BMX track, skateboard park, play football, go crabbing, sail, eat drink & be merry. Quite exhausting really. Some of Today's visitors look like they'd been there a while and we're having great fun.
