Target for discharge is Monday, however, I have not responded well to the once a day IV antibiotic I have been receiving. The doctor now thinks that it may not be bacterial but rather viral. It may simply have to run its own course.

I'm getting set for the IV now. If at first, I guess...

Edit:  just spoke to the doctor. Looks like discharge will be sometime later on Tuesday. We want to avoid any chance of relapse.
