Deserted train station

So i went to Leamington Spa rail station at around 4pm today to collect my bicycle i left on the platform (i didnt come back at this station from last night). And then there was no one in sight on the platforms and no services were shown on the boards as well. It was a little bit creepy as public service announcements are still playing although there are railway personnel at the ticketing area of the station. Then i noticed coaches with the label "Rail Replacement" outisde and a little while longer the PA system announced that passengers heading towards Banbury will be transported using a bus service from Leamington to Banbury.  One just wonders what happened to the railtracks between Leamington and Banbury.
