Lupine in the Sunrise

The hillside at this house is full of lupine ( or lupin as some call it).  I love looking out the window and seeing this purple just everywhere in the sagebrush, along with some pops of yellow flowers here and there.  

This morning as the sun came over the mountain, there was a little dew on the grasses and weeds that really softened my view so that it looked a little like a Monet painting.

We will only be here 2 more days; then heading back east to the south..hot and humid..which I really don't like.  But the hubby has his "things" to do so this trip will be coming to a close..until we come back in late September for hunting season.  Looking forward to the golden aspens then!
