Sixty-one years

Today we celebrated with a bbq the fact that my parents have been married for 61 years today.

Mon told one of her favourite stories of the moment about how her Dad, a man who never went to Church, cried when he saw how full the church was for the marriage of his daughter and new son-in-law who were both regular church attenders.

We had a lovely day with my sister, nephew number 2 (who dashed back from his second day of lorry driving) and his girlfriend, my cousin, her husband and son.

What a beautiful day it's been!
