A long walk

Its been a beautiful day today so decided to take Misty to Crummock Water and do a section I've not done before which goes around the foot of Mellbreak and into the Mosedale Valley thereby making it into a circular walk.  Quite a few boggy bits and I got wet feet even though my boots are waterproof!  We stopped for a sandwich on Low Ling Crag blipped here and what a surprise it was to hear voices coming from the lake.  I had a look and saw what I thought at first were some brightly coloured buoys which turned out to be heads of a couple of swimmers!  They were swimming against the wind so making very slow progress.  They eventually got to where we were sitting and waved and we had a little chat.  They then started taking selfies before heading back and I thought I've seen it all now :):)  but of course I had to take a photo of this and its in the extras.  We were out for just over 5 hours so feeling a bit shattered, Misty is flat out too :)
