Jolly sailor
I had a wonderfully slow morning then went to the pub in Grendon for lunch with my siblings, inlaws and the two bubs for a fun, happy relaxing get together before Ch had to get off to the airport for the next leg of his trip before he heads back to Oz. It's been so lovely to have him, even just for a weekend. Miss Tilly stole the show today in her adorable sailor girl outfit from Grandma, complete with matching knickers and hair bow. (The bow is very much not her usual style but it was actually really cute on her so we forgave her it!). P and H stayed home to revise, poor loves.
It was a beautifully sunny day and I nearly went swimming again but in the end after such a big lunch I opted for a quick food shop. Once I got in, I changed the beds and had a nice (unplanned) snooze (whoops) then found L in the garden and he'd kindly mown and edged the grass and planted up the tumbling tomato plants in the two new hanging baskets. I do hope they grow well.
After another delicious homemade juice (strawberries, pineapple, spinach, carrot, apple and passion fruit) we watched 'Salmon fishing in the Yemen' a lovely funny and gentle film, perfect for a Sunday evening.
