Gently down the stream

Day's eyes

I love the way daisies follow the sun.  These are just a few ox-eyes in an incredible field full of them.  Last year houses were built just over the ridge and a lot of land got chewed up, so now all the daisies, sorrels, grasses and a few skinny pink straggles of fumitory have taken over every inch of the unused land.  The growth comes well over my knees and within it are flattened patches where deer have rested and a lot of evidence of rabbits.  Amazing and beautiful.  And yes, I did trespass - oops!

And as their heads curve round and their stalks curve with the weight of their heads, this should qualify them for today's Mono Monday challenge (Curve).  Many thanks to JDO for hosting..

Apart from which, it was a busy day full of things needing doing, but why am I telling you this, I'm sure your day will have been the same..

Happy Monday evening  xx
