Pragmatism

Electricians in the Coach House today, mainly doing the 2nd fix on the fire alarm which is now all shiny and beepy.  

While they were there we got them to un-bodge the fridge wiring which, like the washing machine, was wired directly from the flex into the mains with a lump of insulation tape.  We'd have liked them to have fitted a under-worksurface socket for the freezer too but that exceeded the spur rating so they suggested simply routing the flex through the worksurface. 

OK, so if that's a Part-P compliant approach I'm sure I can manage that...
