Sun - I don't belieeeeve it.

Yes, it's true, we did have sun and the temp rose to a balmy 18 degs. for a while this afternoon! Summer has come, let's hope it lasts for more than a day.

My sister and brother-in-law are coming next week with Bud's granny Bella.
She, my sister not Bella, is the person who, when we were talking about moving up here, said "Why are you going all the way up there. It's so dark and cold and there's no decent pubs or shops."
Well the latter might be right but it isn't dark, except in the middle of winter when it's dark everywhere and it certainly isn't too cold, except in the middle of winter when it's cold everywhere!
So I really would like a bit of normal June weather so that we can show her the Black Isle at it's best, with lovely warm but fresh air, beautiful woods and glens and stunning, empty beaches. Please!

I've just spotted Poppy's drool! In anticipation of the treat to follow. She is such a gannet!
