Little Owl

Yesterday, at work, I was told that an owl often sits  on a certain gate post each morning. Guessing it was probably a little owl and that they are creatures of habit I went to look this morning (its a spot only 5 minutes drive past work). Bingo, it flew in front of my car as I drove up the lane and landed next to the said post. How lucky was that !!

The peregrine chick post in extras shows just how big and strong the wings look now and I am now thinking they could be fledged within a week not the 2 as predicted yesterday.
