We have take off
The 2 peregrine youngsters both fledged today. I had a very busy day at work scheduled so only had a short time before work to look in on progress. I arrived at 7.30 to find the first had fledged at 6.03. I left after 20 minutes and got a txt to say the second fledged about 30 minutes after I had left. I popped by at 19.00 on the way home to the wonderful sight of the adults flying past the young to encourage them to fly again.
The first to fledge had apparently taken just 2 short flights all day and is seen here on a chimney pot plucking up the courage to try again (he hadn't by the time I left). In extras is the 2nd to fledge taken 40 minutes before the first flight. The next is the male on a fly past and the last is the female
