Hungry Mouths

I am so pleased that we have a family of happy sparrows in the garden now. In previous years we have had a few but now they are increasing and have about 8 at least. This Mum has three hungry babies at her side and have been in and out of the garden all day.
We have one young blackbird and I managed to capture the baby robin on the Scoutcam.

For my 'Random out of wildness' today we took the Brownies to the beach and had a wonderful evening. We made stone bases for the BBQ , dolphin sand sculptures surrounded in stones gathered from the beach, holes were dug and toasted marshmallows were eaten and the funny penguin song sang. What a great end to the session as a dolphin swam past just a the girls were about to go in swimming. Not many Brownies can say they have swam with a dolphin , well not in the Moray Firth anyway :)
