Feeling The Heat

Summer arrived early. We're having cool nights and sunny warm days. It's delightful.

As I was backing the car out of the driveway yesterday, I happened to glance up at the little window of the attic space above the garage, and saw that this candle was not tolerating the heat very well.

It's not a real candle -- it's electric -- but it looks and feels like a real one, and the light flickers quite convincingly, even in its distressed condition. We haven't reached the hottest part of the year yet, so the candle will have to stay in a cooler location until the fall.
