The Sweepers

These green sculptures by a local company Shipshape Arts which are located in the centre of the city beside the Council House, celebrate Nottingham's official status as the Cleanest City in Britain, and the three awards received by the Parks Service.
The green figures represent the idea of community and are designed to encourage everyone to take responsibility for the cleanliness of their immediate locality and green spaces.
Nottingham is justifiably proud of its achievements and the recognition received from the Clean Britain Awards and The Association of Public Service.
