Another lovely Scottish summer day, I could really get used to this. Took the camera and tripod to Greyfriars Kirkyard during my lunch break to have another go at some of the fantastic stones there. There really nice ones are East facing so more suitable for a morning shot - but then you need to be careful with the shadows. At lunch time they are shaded. Easier lighting but a bit flat. An overcast morning might be good to get some diffuse light. Anyway, a good excuse to visit.

I took the long way home over the Crags and managed to take a pano of Arthur's Seat. I managed to find a spot where I could hide the camera and tripod in the shadows of a rock.
