Roundabout Noon.....

......amazing clouds came rolling through and headed out to sea, thick, white and puffy, only parts of the Port Hills of Christchurch could be seen. Mum and I were surprised by the calmness of the Pacific Ocean and loved the colours mingling together.

It was our usual day for grocery shop, a meander alongside the Kaiapoi River where the willows are still in their autumn dress and soup to warm us up at our favourite café.

The air was brisk as a light breeze came off the snowy mountains. I think we had the best of both worlds being by the river and then by the sea, we are fortunate to have them close by.

Poor R thought we'd been away for such a long time but really it was just our normal time, I guess things are different to being in his own environment at home but all the same he was happy.

Must fly now and get the groceries put away, thank you for all of your lovely comments, stars and hearts over the last few days, they are always greatly appreciated.
