SeaTac
We flew into Seattle late this afternoon and encountered spectacular weather. Washington State generally, and Seattle specifically, is portrayed as wet, grey, and gloomy. While this is true much of the year, today was the exception that makes everyone want to move here. Mt. Rainier stands guard over the Seattle-Tacoma terminal, where Alaska Airlines, our carrier for Tuesday's flight, has a large presence.
We are back in Seattle due to poor travel planning on my part. I mistakenly thought we could hop aboard a flight anywhere, so I booked round trip tickets from Zihuatanejo to Seattle through Los Angeles, intending to pick up our return flight in L.A. Turns out the airlines don't let one board mid-trip, if you don't start at the beginning they cancel the entire thing, so we had to hoof it back from L.A. to Seattle on Sunday in order to catch our flight back to L.A. and then Zihua on Tuesday.
