Summertime

Our long awaited British summer seems finally to have arrived  - whether or not it's short lived or otherwise we'll have to see, but at least for the present it's wonderful.

We went walking round Scammonden Dam this morning very early, so we only met a few dog walkers and it seemed as thought we had the place to ourselves;  all we could hear was the sound of birds singing  -  a perfect accompaniment on our walk.
