Himalayan Poppy

Thought I’d go to the RHS gardens at Harlow Carr and practice my flower photography. Practice does make perfect …….. doesn’t it ? Not in my case but I’ve got a variety of shots from the 3 hours I spent there.  Once I’ve done a bit of cropping some of them may be worth putting on flickr. 

I could have posted the buttercup against the blue sky to remind me of the button popping off my trousers when I bent down to get the shots!  Fortunately I'd seen most of the gardens and the zip held them up until  got to the car. 

Turned right at the wrong roundabout on the way back, then got in the wrong lane going round the right roundabout. I’m going somewhere without roundabouts tomorrow.
