Flower Friday

Yet another miserable and cold day. Looking across the road to my neighbour's I could see a flash of bright colour in their hedge. On investigation, it turned out to be a gladiolus bravely flowering  even though we are well into winter. The hedge must offer some degree of shelter.

The glowing colour was just what I needed to brighten up this wintery day

Like many others, I am tagging this flower ForAlma. I didnt know Alma or follow her journal, but I do follow her daughter Anni (BikerBear). The loss of a dearly loved mother is very hard and I hope this collective bouquet gives Anni some comfort.
