Early Morning Serenity

So nice to see the sun today, even if it was intermittent.

Blipmate and I took our walk in a different direction today and visited the mouth of the estuary by the fishing wharf. There were multitudes of seabirds of every type   - even a small island filled with shags standing almost shoulder to shoulder which I have never seen before.

Something about this calm scene really appealed to me - probably the contrast to the bad weather we have been having.
