Thundery

Up at 4 to get our flight (via Southampton) to Bergerac. Our son did the honours of driving us to the airport.

It was a beautiful morning and there was always the thought that we were leaving home just as the weather improved.

Easy journey - no cows involved - and a 30 minute drive got us to our destination. Temperature in mid to high 20s and some impressive cloud formations like this one. Early evening the thunder was rolling round the countryside.

But otherwise peaceful and relaxing. Let the holiday commenczzzzzzzzzzzz.
