Roller Disco

Day 1 of our visit to Center Parcs at Elveden.

The packing inevitably started early, but lasted longer than intended, it having had to largely make way for PTA Summer Fayre preparations. The day has been very warm, somewhere in the high twenties and a bit of a surprise after recent temperatures struggling to make it into those which could be considered summer.

The roller disco in the evening was somewhat under-subscribed, but giving plenty of space for our youngsters to have a skate. Beloved, I and Master H sat in the adjacent sports bar watching Misses I & C, that is until Master H decided to get in on the action. Barriers across the entrance to the rink explaining that a session was in progress, had been put in place. This was little more than a minor inconvenience to Master H. My eyes were averted for a second, but that was all that was needed. He quickly seized the opportunity and circumvented the barrier. I made short shrift of recovering him, mid-dash across the rink!
