Moonbeam and Mutton

Our first full day at Centre Parcs Elveden kicked off with a bird of prey experience for the girls and drizzle after cereal and toast. The informative and entertaining Keith Mutton of Phoenix Bird Control presented and flew a number of his birds, more often found clearing wildlife from the runways at RAF Lakenheath and Mildenhall.

As can be seen, I was allowed in on the act for the finale, kindly blipped by another participant. Although Moonbeam's wings were flapping behind my head, I could hear nothing only feeling a soft swish of air.

We enjoyed a good 2 hours in the Subtropical Swimming Paradise (very family friendly) after lunch.
