Bedraggled
The expected rain arrived last night, right on time to soak the newly laid grass seeds. It has been raining for much of today, but a gentle rain, together with warm ‘muggy’ weather will be good for the grass seed. I am photographing the restored garden, from different angles, every day so that I can map its progress. Some may appear on here, most will go on Flickr.
The builder (boss man) came this morning to help my husband with some of the plumbing in the existing bathroom. He left at lunchtime to go home to look after his poorly wife, while Bill continued with the rest of the work. For those who do not know, we are not allowing the plumbers back on the site after the mess they made; we are getting wiser as the work progresses! At the end of today, the bathroom will be ready for plastering and whatever has to be done next.
Today’s picture is of a rather bedraggled Poppy, my second choice today was a Wild Geranium flower covered in raindrops.
