Rumpety pumpety

An EXCELLENT day out. 

A reunion with an old band (and some of them are VERY old!).  

Although started off badly :
Euphonium player " You live on Lanark Road, I live in Lanark...can you pick me up?"

Now, there's a 'London Road' in Edinburgh too but it's nowhere near London! After driving via the arse**** of Lanark for pickup, we eventually arrived 30 mins late.

I haven't played at a gala day for 15 years, (only picked up my instrument last week for the first time).  But what a day !  We laughed till we wept.  Topped off with an excellent curry in our old drinking den of the 1990s.  Mr S and the girls joined us for a poppadom or two.

Overjoyed to be back playing with the dream team. Can't wait for the next one.
