There was interesting conversation today! I reminded the Headmaster to bring his dookers on Monday as Nursery have their Beach Day! Dockers (n) or to dook (v) were not words he was familiar with which gave me some moments of doubt too.... I looked up the word in the Cumbrian Dialect dictionary and was glad to see I had not made the word up!

Philip and I would both use some dialect and had many conversations about the difference between the north-east and north-west of England!
