Friends from my early days at The Times will recognise this face instantly.

Mary Jane Bogue and I last worked together in 1995 before she left for the Telegraph.

She found me walking along the towpath in Little Venice last weekend with Garry.

We had lunch and a catch up in the Masons Arms.
