BACK TO IT

One man went to mow, went to mow a meadow .....

This was the first cut; he had to lower the cutter and go over it a second time. Luckily we only have a small garden. Lots of flowers have come out since we went on holiday, but alas no asparagus this year. The Nuthatches have flown the nest, and hopefully the rest of the Blue Tits, as there are 2 unhatched eggs and 1 miniscule dead chick left inside. The ducks and Blackbirds positioned themselves outside the kitchen door within minutes of us arriving home yesterday!
