ERISKAY

From South Uist we drove across to Eriskay, an island that would merit a much longer stay. Weather unbelievable again.

Then we wandered hither and thither northwards. More Hen Harriers and Short-eared Owls, one is an extra; and also a Great White Egret which we were told is very unusual on the islands. The birder is a happy man.

Our ferry back was about 5:30 and we were home around 7pm
