Fill Bellies not Bins

Despite the threatening sky we had a nice city ride around Rotterdam, visited a few market events and found a Hari Krishna type ceremony, but the most important was a whole event about food waste -

If you stop and think - just throwing away the last few pieces / slices of a loaf of bread - say the last 5 % - what does that do to the wheat prices and how many people could you feed with that last 5%.

And for most of us lucky enough to be posting our journals we are also i guess lucky that we have enough to eat

so a challenge maybe - how much less food can you manage to throw away this week
