The Good, The Bad And The Ugly
We went cava wine tasting while we were in Barcelona. We we're meant to go to Freixenet but our guide said they produce over 140 million bottles of cava a year, it's highly processed and has lots of added sulphates and that they just show you a video at the winery. She insisted we taste a a local boutique winery instead. Their cava was fantastic and we bought a bottle back with us.
We invited friends over to do a taste test with us. It was no contest, the boutique cava best the Feixenet hands down!
