Had to go pick up groceries...

We had to go downtown to pick up groceries, most important Wegmans Just TEA Green Tea - I was completely out of this delicious tea, plus our dinner for tonight.  It was hot and humid but it was cool inside the store.  The flowers at the entrance and inside were welcoming and beautiful.
On the way home we stopped to take a look at the Ruth Uris Garden, part of the Liberty Hyde Bailey Loop trail, Cornell Campus.  By the time we got home there were warnings of thunder storms and flash floods so we quickly got the trunk emptied and sat and watched the storm from the comfort of our family room.  I'm including a collage of the backyard visitors we got, despite the pouring down rain and early darkening skies.  A grey squirrel discovered my Oriole/Hummingbird nectar feeder and got doused as he tipped it up, must have ended up all sticky and have a problem keeping the ants off.  Despite the rain the Ruby-throated Hummingbirds came to fill up with nectar before nightfall.
