A very British affair

Real estate by the sea. When I say real estate, I'm referring to beach huts, in most cases, little more than a garden shed with a view. These things can go for ridiculous prices. Didn't look like such a great investment on a cold, wet and dreary Saturday in June.

Thetford for the weekend. I have never been to Thetford but have passed through Thetford forest many times on my way to Norfolk so I envisaged a quaint sleepy Norfolk village with some olde worlde pubs, a village green and duck pond etc. Nothing of the sort. The place is a bit of a dive if I'm honest (hope no one from Thetford reads this). Still, the B&B was lovely and we found a great pub to while away the evenings and during the day, we simply put plenty of miles between ourselves and Thetford, hence this little scene from Southwold which also happens to be the home of the Adnams brewery. Coincidence? I don't think so.
