Summer's Back!

Summer's come, and in and round the village,
Valerian, deep red, climbs every bank,
In amongst its white and pinker sisters,
Where, just weeks ago, prolific garlic stank.

Summer's here, and now the wide sky's cloudless,
Its deep blue matching all the vibrant tones
Of flowers at the height of their glory,
Where the bee, like his brothers, softly moans.

Mr PP has been really busy today. He's fitted the old kitchen wall cupboards up on the end wall of the garage. So now we've no excuse for not cracking on with the tidying and finding proper homes for bits and pieces. Still lots and lots to do, but it's real progress!
