Tracy Arm Fjord
Today we are cruising Tracy Arm Fjord, absolutely spectacular, earily quiet. We entered the start of the Fjord at 7am, and it was very cloudy and misty, after an hour's cruising we encountered the glacier, unfortunately my camera does not do it justice. Hence this photo of a junk of the glacier which had 'calved' and was floating away.
There was a seal colony, with quite a few 'pups' and some juvenile bald eagles. The seals use this place to have their pups as very few preditors come this far up, so they are relatively safe.
