Seattle

Up very early, 6.30am, shower, breakfast then into the theatre to await our tour number.

We tend to book a tour at the end of the cruise, as we generally have an evening flight, so we load our bags onto the coach and do a tour of the city.  We had tickets to go up the Space Needle, all I can say is 'we did it' views were good, the gift shop was expensive. so back to the coach.

Our next stop was Pike Market, which apparently is a cheap place to buy fresh flowers and fish, even the fish are bigger than any I have seen in Spain or the UK, King Salmon weighing in at 46lbs.

Found a café that did a decent coffee and chocolate croissant, back on the coach and to the airport.

We had quite a few hours until our plane took off, checked the bags in and went through to departures.  We had about $40 left, so pizza and fresh orange juice and enough left over for some sweets.

They started boarding the plane, and the queue we were in was taking ages to get through, the hold up was in our favour, we were upgraded to Business Class.  I had booked us Premium Economy for the return flight, the plane should have had an upper level, but it didn't, so I guess a few of us were upgraded to ensure that everyone got on the plane.  We didn't complain.

What a difference in the standard of service and the food, proper crockery and cutlery, real glasses, not plastic and very attentive staff. I wish I could afford to fly Business Class on all my long haul flights.

So that is the end of our cruise, very different from all our other cruises, a long way to go for a week, but worth it.
