Hawkbit

This morning a pair of red kites were squawking and flying low over the station, but kept out of reach of my compact camera... As with yesterday my blood pressure was down and my pulse was up so I felt pretty good, and managed a proper 1.25 km in the swimming pool at a sensible pace - though not my normal pace.

Today's blip is a hawkbit flower of some sort that I spotted on my way from work to the pool. It's quite pretty, and apparently in the past people thought that birds of prey ate it so that they would have good eye sight!
