Growing old?......

What does it mean to grow old?  Once again my box (see extra photo) proved a hit during Open Studios with folk making anonymous contributions.
 
 
Here are a few:
 
“Focuses the mind.”
 
“All the bits start falling off.”
 
“Still love to paint at 85”
 
“Becoming more invisible…but gaining so much more wisdom, courage and strength…good to be out of the ‘warrior’ phase of life and into peaceful phase.
 
“Spending all my money, not saving it at all as I might be dead soon so might as well enjoy it. It’s great!” (82 year old)
 
“Note being afraid to be yourself.”
 
“Wish I was a little bit younger- and know what I know now.”
 
“Not having to behave.”
