From Siberia With Love....

 
When Olga’s grandmother in Siberia heard she was moving to Scotland  from Spain she worried about her having enough warm clothes.
 
“Don’t worry,” Olga told her on the phone “Summer and winter are the same in Scotland.”
 
Well, when you grow up in Siberia you are used to -30C in winter and 30C+ in summer. So, compared to that our climate hardly changes.
 
   
I met Olga Krasanova this afternoon where she is exhibiting as part of Open Studios. She works in linocut and I bought one of her pieces inspired by the wild animals she knew in her homeland which she left as 15 year old to move to Europe.
