Bison Bliss

Our family outing today involved a trip to the Terry Bison Ranch.
It is an old working cattle ranch where the stock are American Bison.
Over the years it has evolved into a unique tourist attraction that allows folks to safely approach a bison herd from the confines of a small train car.
The train's guide showed us how to feed the "cake"pellets to the bison who came to the train expecting to get the treats.
These huge beautiful animals are treated very well.
We all enjoyed the whole experience very much.

The extra photo is included for those folks who might wonder how a Jackalope Fawn appears when fully grown. Of course it's unlikely one could ever be saddled and ridden.
