1st Shot

The Canon 550D has landed today, so this the first shot to show it still works thanks to Colin who parcelled it so carefully.
I'm very heartened by those of you who have taken the time and trouble to reflect on how to enliven my Blipping.
I'm heartened too by how many of you want actual meeting contact rather than all this old virtual malarkey.
I'm now discovering very clearly, how much I miss the daily contact my work brought me. I had been saying ( having stopped work at 70 ) " no , don't miss it at all ", but it's true I don't miss the responsibilities, but I so miss the daily contact. 
Do look at my later added extra : Sir's afternoon clean!, he managed again last night to go off on a prowl & return minus collar, where do these creatures go!
