Need a head for heights

Day in Andalsnes a small alpine village. The ship had to anchor in the fjord and we were transferred from ship to Andalsnes by tender - our lifeboats. We were on a half day trip which took us along the winding Trollstigen scenic road to Geiranger which offers breath taking views of Geirangerfjord (Blip) and the Stigfossen Waterfall. 

The Blip was taken from a man-made viewing station (just see the edge of it in the bottom left corner of the blip) which juts out from the mountain side at Geiranger. The Blip shows the road winding down the mountain side and on towards the town of Andalsnes - from this view point we could see the cruise ship in the harbour which is just visible in the Blip. 

This is the land of the Trolls and they are said to live in the mountains on either side of Geirangerfjord and only appear when it is dark. Tonight the ship moves onto Trondheim.
