Charlotte's first bloom of 2015

To the dentist in Kingsbridge - check up, scrape and polish. Quick shop. Then home very slowly in post-school traffic and behind the bus most of the way. People driving into bottle-necks at every end and turn, bringing everything to a standstill. Half the drivers - mostly the ones who drive into bottle-necks - seem incapable of reversing. 

Shopping stowed in time to find the first bud's begun opening on the sweet-smelling Charlotte, my rose in a tub. 

Teeth feel nice and - surprise, surprise - I've already gone back on my decision, on leaving the dentist, never to eat again. Oh, and now after a cool, dull day, the sun's shining warmly - just in time to set!
