Cobb wall, Lyme Regis

After posting yesterdays blip I headed down to the beach to take some photos of the stormy sea. In all the years I have lived in Lyme Regis I don't remember seeing seas anthything like this in June. I've put one of the picures in my blipfolio which shows just how rough it was.
This afternoon I headed back there to take a picture of the Cobb wall which has had a very thorough salt wash in the last 24 hours. Underneath the steps in the middle of the picture is a seat built into the wall that's called the Gin Palace - a wonderful name! My Nan used to sit in it and eat fish and chips whilst watching the boats and tourists.
